Miljoonasade 40 Years: Childhood Heroes (in Finnish)
“Good song lyrics are like rain. They surprise you, refresh you, and set mudslides in motion. But most important is the sound of the rain.” – Heikki Salo

Miljoonasade’s 40th anniversary year will culminate in autumn 2026 with the Childhood Heroes anniversary tour traveling across Finland. Now is the time to gather the most memorable and moving songs from the Miljoonasade repertoire and perform them with full heart every night. Songs such as Marraskuu, 506 ikkunaa, Tulkoon rakkaus, and of course Lapsuuden sankarille will be heard, along with a few very fresh new tracks as well.
Miljoonasade is not a nostalgia tribute to itself, but a living band that wants to give audiences the very best of what it does: music, stories, emotions, and experiences. This crown jewel of Finnish rock will deliver all of this in October and November on unique stages across the country: nineteen concerts in concert halls.
“To be able to travel Finland’s highways for 40 years, playing and entertaining people for a living—you must be some kind of shaman, I suppose one can admit that by now. The years have gone by, and we’ve always been playing. Writing songs, rocking out, building our own audience and fan community. Doing our own thing.” – Heikki Salo
