Blastics

Blastics arrives at Irkku for the very first time this June! Blastics is a high‑energy trio that gives hits from the 80s and 90s a punk‑scented wash and rinse! The band’s lead vocalist Marju Laine is known, among other things, from the 2022 season of The Voice of Finland. The lineup also features seasoned musical all‑rounder Ana Kaunisto (guitar & vocals), familiar from the bands Jackrabbit, Lobster, and Iskias, as well as guitar ace Marko Rantala, who is rumored to have picked up the guitar for the first time straight from the maternity ward! The drummer is a compact character who never complains, eats very little, fits into small spaces — and isn’t even particularly “explosion‑prone.”
